On the last Friday of the Games, the women’s 3000-meter final was set to run at sunset. The American Mary Decker was poised to win the gold; she’d been denied the chance four years earlier. Becker, Del.Supr., 155 A.2d 596 (1959). Plaintiff's final argument is the incantation that demand is excused because the directors otherwise would have to sue themselves, thereby placing the conduct of the litigation in hostile hands and preventing its effective prosecution. This bootstrap argument has been made to and dismissed by other courts.

For the 2020 - 2021 school year, I will be teaching World History HP, IB World History HL2/SL, and IB Economics. I look forward to a productive year.
I began my teaching career in 2002 at La Quinta High. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy from The University of Arizona (go Cats!). I have also held various job positions with companies in several different industries and worked in the private sector for 20 years before embarking on a teaching career.
I am a fourth generation Californian and I have roots in the desert: my grandmother graduated from Coachella Union High School (as it was called in 1939), and my mother was born in Mecca. I grew up in Blythe, California and graduated from Palo Verde High. My husband works in the farming industry and we have two children who attended LQHS. We thoroughly enjoy what this desert community has to offer.
